Don Johnson serves as President and CEO at Core Process Technologies, bringing over 40 years of experience in maritime operations, financial leadership, and joint venture development. Throughout his career, Don has overseen large-scale terminal, depot, and container operations, with a sharp focus on financial stewardship, strategic growth, and labor relations. He has served on the boards of directors of numerous maritime companies and is past chairman of the West Gulf Maritime Association Board.

Prior to joining CPT, Don was Senior Vice President & CFO at Cooper/Ports America and a longtime executive with Shippers Stevedoring Company. His background includes extensive work with ILA locals and district offices, where he built trusted relationships and helped navigate complex union agreements. Don has also played a central role in launching and managing multiple logistics joint ventures across the Gulf Coast, including Bayport Global Logistics and GP Terminals.

At CPT, Don leads all financial strategy, forecasting, and compliance functions, helping ensure the company’s continued growth and operational excellence in support of ports, employers, and longshore labor.
